Nymfee Destination Weddings

As both a guest and a member of the bridal party, I was extremely disappointed by the level of professionalism displayed by the wedding planner, Nadia Volaki, throughout the event. Communication and coordination were poorly handled from the beginning, with little to no proper introduction or briefing provided to the bridal or groom’s parties until the very last minute. On multiple occasions, the planner spoke aggressively and inappropriately to guests and members of the wedding party, including yelling across the venue and using profanity during already stressful moments. Prior to walking down the aisle, the planner addressed the bridal party in an aggressive tone, stating: “Listen to me as I’m not going to f***ing repeat it again,” before giving incomplete instructions. This created unnecessary stress and was entirely inappropriate behaviour immediately before the ceremony. One particularly uncomfortable moment was witnessing the planner speak to the bride and state: “I don’t want to be a d***head but if your guests don’t move you’re going to have less time for the party.” This was upsetting and completely unacceptable to witness on what should have been a joyful and well-managed occasion. Her overall demeanour throughout the event felt hostile, visibly irritated, and unnecessarily confrontational. While the venue, guests, and suppliers did their best to create a beautiful atmosphere, the planner’s behaviour consistently created stress and discomfort throughout the day. In both my personal opinion and professional opinion as a business owner, the level of professionalism displayed was unacceptable and did not reflect the standard of service expected from a wedding planner.

We worked with Nadia for our wedding, and she was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, Nadia made the entire planning process stress-free and enjoyable. She was always on top of every detail, incredibly responsive, and ensured that nothing was overlooked. Thanks to her expertise, the wedding was stunning—everything from the decor to the atmosphere was beautiful, and the vendors she recommended were fantastic. The day was filled with fun and ran smoothly, all thanks to her hard work and organization. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and highly recommend Nadia to anyone looking for a wedding planner!

Nadia is the best! Not exaggerating. She made planning a wedding in Greece (without visiting beforehand) an actual breeze.
